Referee training & certification programs

The Referee Training & Certification Programs are designed to develop qualified, knowledgeable, and unbiased Taekwondo referees in accordance with Jidokwan and World Taekwondo rules. These programs provide comprehensive training on competition regulations, scoring systems, match procedures, signals, ethics, and decision-making.

Participants undergo theoretical instruction, practical demonstrations, and live match assessments to ensure accuracy and confidence in officiating. Upon successful completion, referees receive official JTFI certification, enabling them to officiate in authorized district, state, and national championships—ensuring fair play, professionalism, and high standards of competition.
