Color belt examinations & grading

The Color Belt Examinations & Grading program is conducted to evaluate a student’s technical skill, discipline, and overall progress in Taekwondo. Each grading follows a structured syllabus as per Jidokwan and Kukkiwon standards, ensuring fair, transparent, and uniform assessment across all affiliated academies.

Students are tested on basic techniques, stances, kicks, blocks, poomsae (forms), sparring fundamentals, self-defense, physical fitness, and etiquette according to their belt level. Successful candidates are promoted to the next belt rank, recognizing their dedication, improvement, and readiness to advance.

This grading system motivates students to set goals, maintain consistency in training, and build confidence, while reinforcing the core values of Taekwondo—discipline, respect, perseverance, and self-control.
